In the swim

St Nicholas Primary School held its swimming carnival at Scully Park pool recently.
There were some fantastic performances and a large number of students will go on to represent the school at diocesan level in a few weeks.
All the students had a very enjoyable day, competing in serious and novelty events, as well as barracking for their sporting house. The great number of parents and grandparents who attended made it a wonderful community event. In the juniors, Eloise Turner was awarded girls champion while Nathan Summers took out the boys champion trophy.
Miah O’Sullivan’s efforts were rewarded with champion for the 11 years girls, while Joe Doherty and Ed George shared the honours for the 11 years boys.
Senior boys champion went to Scott Flanagan while the senior girls champion was shared between Luci Gerathy and Amelia Summers. The Senior Champion House winner was Red.
