Waratahs teach some tricks

While in town the Waratahs paid a visit to local schools to teach the pupils, and some teachers, some new tricks on the field.
On Wednesday, January 8, Waratah players Atieli Pakalani and Wycliff Palu visited Hillvue Public School.
Players gave a talk to students before taking them out onto the school oval to teach them some rugby skills. Students were able to develop their kicking, running and ball handling skills.
Development officers John Searl and Mark Debrincat also ran some skills with the senior students. John particularly encouraged more girls to play rugby as it will be an Olympic event in 2016.
